Birds of prey

We had a lovely lovely day yesterday when the Birds of prey came to school. It was very enjoyable and interesting to see the golden eagle, the barn owl and the falcon. We had a lot of laughs and we are still looking for someone to come clean up after the birds left a nice surprise for us in the hall. All volunteers welcome. Children from Junior infants right up to 6th class (including Mrs Hickey and Ms.Traynor) got to hold and feed the owl and the falcon while a few got to pet the eagle. We hope you all enjoyed it.
